Fever Panel Tests in Visakhapatnam
Fever that won't settle? A fever panel checks for dengue, malaria, typhoid and infection in one visit – so treatment can start sooner.
About fever panel tests at SMS Diagnostics
Fever is the body's response to infection, but the cause is not always obvious. In coastal cities like Visakhapatnam, dengue, malaria, typhoid and other viral fevers rise sharply during and after the monsoon. Many of these illnesses start with similar symptoms – high temperature, body pain, headache and weakness – so laboratory tests are needed to tell them apart.
A fever panel at SMS Diagnostics combines the tests doctors most often order for fever: a complete blood count with platelets, dengue antigen and antibody tests, malaria tests, typhoid tests, CRP and a urine examination. Having them done together saves repeated visits and helps your doctor reach a diagnosis quickly.

How often should platelets be checked in dengue?
Doctors often advise daily platelet counts during the critical phase of dengue (around days 3–7). Follow your doctor's schedule.
